Sales Representative – Wholesale Distribution | Tampa, FL
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team in Tampa, Florida - PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT BASED IN TAMPA
This is a full-time role for a professional who thrives in building relationships, driving revenue, and representing quality products to retail and wholesale clients.
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing and growing accounts across the Tampa Bay area while actively seeking new business opportunities. This is a field-based position requiring regular in-person client visits, territory management, and accurate sales reporting.
We provide the training, tools, and support to help you succeed, but we expect you to bring the drive, professionalism, and consistency needed to exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and wholesale accounts
- Conduct regular visits to client locations to promote products, secure orders, and ensure brand visibility
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territory
- Negotiate pricing and terms within approved guidelines
- Manage sales pipeline through CRM with accurate data entry and timely follow-up
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Collaborate with internal teams on marketing initiatives, promotions, and product launches
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review
Requirements
- Based in Tampa, Florida or immediate surrounding areas
- 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or wholesale distribution
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel within the Tampa Bay region and occasionally statewide.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail, wholesale, FMCG, lifestyle brands, or distribution sales
- Established network within the Florida retail or wholesale market
- Familiarity with territory management and route planning
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary plus commission
- On-target earnings potential of $65,000 to $90,000+ annually
- Mileage reimbursement and expense coverage for approved travel

Location
This position is based in Tampa, Florida, with regular travel to clients in nearby areas such as St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Lakeland. Field-based work is required.
